Is my hiatus over?

I don't even know if anyone even reads this any more since it's been so long since I last updated this.

Excuse My Tardiness

Pardon me for not updating my blog in months, I haven't entirely felt like it.

I'm officially a high school graduate and now I head for the adventures of college! Three months and I will be well on my way to Sherman, Texas, whereat I will be attending Austin College.
Personally, I know only one person who attends Austin College; however, I have heard of a few people, whom I do not know, who will be attending AC next year.
Now, since I know that many of you have never heard of Austin College, let me inform you of some its history. Originally it was located in Huntsville until there was a yellow fevre outbreak. After the outbreak, it moved to Sherman, Texas, which at the time of the relocation, Sherman was larger than Dallas. The reason Austin College is named "Austin College" is because the land on which it is located was donated by Emily Austin, the sister of the founder of Texas.

Enough of that.
If only I could travel into the future and skip the scorching months of summer...but alas, I am not the Doctor.

Party, Party!

This week is spring break, and I'm spending it in DC, instead of in Galveston at the nasty beaches. The one thing is, it is not supposed to be very warm in DC, so I must bring jackets, and lots of 'em.

I successfully spent over $300 on new clothing for this trip, so it best be worth every penny that I (and really, my dad) have spent.

I'm looking forward to leaving Texas for an entire week without parents, not to mention the fact that this will be the first time I ride in an aeroplane! For my travelling companions, I apologise.

I realize that it has been some weeks since I last posted anything. Now, it's been, in part, because I'm lazy. However, my computer was broken for almost two months, so I'm just gonna blame that instead. OK?

In English class, we are reading the novel, Jane Eyre, this is honestly the first book I think I'm going to read all the way through...and tomorrow I'm going to the beach, so I'm gonna be readin' it up there! (Since Galveston water is disgusting)
Worry not, I have sunscreen, so I will not be returning on Wednesday red (I hope).

EVENTS

Today I was thinking about posting entirely in Spanish, but then I decided to tell you that from this point onward, it will be in Spanish, so give up if you don't know Spanish, or google-translate this beeyotch.
Hoy yo fui a la casa de mi compañera pa' trabajar en nuestro proyecto de la clase de inglés. Nos fue bien. Espero que tengamos suficiente tiempo pa' completarlo pero si no lo tenemos, podemos quitar uno de los dos poemas.
¡¡Me enoja mi calificación en la clase de español!! ¡Tengo 99! ¡Ay de mí! Claro que no es una nota mala, pero me siento mal. Lo lamento que yo me he quejado muchísimo.

Today was, by far, one of the worst Fridays of the year. I had some sort of exam in my first three classes, failed the first one. However, in Spanish I had to give a presentación about a poem that I had written:

A las mascotas les gusta dormir en mí

Pero al fin, yo no dormí

Honestly, I could care less about for whom you vote, so long as it isn't someone from the Religious Right

because religions have nothing to do with politics, and those who believe it does, are clearly not supporters of democracy and should be hanged. (Not really)


O, look, I just finished eating a blueberry muffin! even though the rent is too damn high...
